Y-Rock On XPN @ 88.5 HD-2

Y-Rock On XPN is now available in Philadelphia at 88.5 HD-2 and in Lancaster/York on 88.7 HD-2.

How Can I Get It?
WXPN HD Radio channels are available in the Philadelphia and Lancaster/York listening areas. In order to receive HD-2, you need to purchase an HD tuner.

Just as HDTV provides television viewers with a crisp video image, plus additional channels, HD Radio technology provides radio listeners with a stronger, cleaner signal, and gives radio stations the opportunity to offer more channels.

Digital broadcasts provide listeners with:

  • CD-quality, crystal-clear sound
  • Radically improved audio quality and reception
  • Signal fading, static, hisses and pops are a thing of the past.
  • Free to consumers, just like today's analog AM and FM radio.

Don't have your HD Radio yet?
Some cars now come equipped with HD Radios, and there are many after-market add-ons. You can make a purchase at Amazon.com where your purchase supports WXPN public radio. And, many local retail outlets sell HD radios, converters and tuners for your home and your car.

WXPN has partnered with Glick Audio & Video, 920-B Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602. Glick is offering XPN listeners a 20% discount on select HD Radios. Discount coupons can be obtained at WXPN events throughout Central PA.

Add HD Radio Reception to Your Car Radio

If your car, truck or SUV did not come equipped with HD, then you can pick up a universal add-on HD Radio tuner. You can turn virtually any factory or aftermarket radio into an HD Radio, by connecting the tuner to your car's audio system.
